Busy....
Well last night I went out for a friend's b-day and ended up having a few too many drinks and crashed at another friend's place. That lead me to waking up at 6:20am and taking the 35 minute drive home in early rush hour traffic accross 494 (BBOOOOO!!!!). From there it was a load of laundry, packing of camping, climbing, and photography equipment, and a shower - the Pimp Bug has never been so packed with just my crap. Rolled into work at 9am (2 hours later than I had wanted to at lunch time yesterday). All of this just so I could camp and climb with bensbane, pete, and others up at Taylor's falls this weekend. See yall next week, hopefully with a couple of trip reports.

Devil's Tower: Made it back in one piece!
Well I'm back from "The Tower". The climbing was great and the people were awesome. Can't wait to get back there to climb and visit Frank again. Hopefully I'll be able to set aside some time to put together a trip report soon and put pics into the gallery. In the mean time, here are a few pics from the Tower. Peace.

Wish me luck...
Well I'm leaving at 8am tomorrow for Devil's Tower. I'm excited. All the people going are great people and from what I've been told, the host Frank Sanders is an incredible person - can't wait to meet him and hear some good stories. I'm sure this trip will be everything I expect it to be and more. I'll be back with a trip report (and a trip report for Jamaica) next week with pictures and all that good stuff. For the time being, wish me luck and let's hope I don't fall off. Peace!

Fun day DENIED!
I'm pretty thoroughly pissed off right now... My day was supposed to be filled with a lil bit of work, then a fun motorcycle ride and some climbing up at Taylors Falls. Alas, I am sitting at work while it rains like cats and dogs outside!!
At 1am this morning the forcast for the day was ok: for the am, they predicted light, scattered showers, with 30% chance of rain, and for the afternoon, party cloudy skys, 20% chance to rain. Well as you might have guessed, I rode in this morning in light rain, but now it's pouring outside! Needless to say there will be no ride up to Taylors, nor will there be any climbing done. I plan on staying at work until it appears that the rain is letting up and then I will make the wet, unfun commute home. YA FOR ME! Note to self: don't read weather.com or weatherbug.com because both suck... invest in a Magic 8-ball.

Kynosis: Great Band
Last night I checked out my friends' band Kynosis. They were INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend going to their shows. They have an awesome, unique sound - a great mix of guitar, drums, keyboard, and vocals. Check the pics below; more in the gallery.

Kynosis at the Fine Line
My good friends Mike and Paul, with thier band Kynosis, are playing a show down at the Fine Line Music Cafe TONIGHT!! I highly recommend that everyone go and check it out! It's only $3 at the door. Plus there are drink specials until 11. I'll be there with my camera in one hand and a Bacardi Coke in the other.

Up and running!!!
"It's about time!!" says the group of people who have been motivating, helping, and bitching at me to get this thing up and running.
